In general though, the news coming out of Cleveland is bleak and disconcerting. The city has been hit inordinately hard with foreclosures due to the sub-prime mess, payday loan businesses are preying on the city's poor, and criminals moving about parts of town to strip foreclosed homes of salvageable metal from pipes and wiring.
